We are seeking a Bachelor's level case manager to provide resource coordination related to the housing needs of single adults (25 years of age and up) residing within the shelter. Candidates must have experience working with individuals with mental health challenges and histories of complex trauma. The case manager will assist guests transitioning out of the shelter to Independent Housing, Rapid Rehousing Programs, and Permanent Housing Rental Assistance Programs.
The case manager should also be able to assist guests to navigate housing market, identify appropriate housing arrangements for families, and facilitating tenant/landlord communication. Must be able to build and maintain relationships with outside agencies that provide housing assistance to guests.
Must be committed to helping improve the lives of women and children in the Miami-Dade community by working in a high-paced residential environment.
REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor's Degree
-Valid Drivers License and ability to be insured at no additional cost
-COVID vaccination required for employment
-Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Sheets, and Electronic Health Systems
-Experience working with diverse populations
-Experience providing services to high need individuals
-Work Schedule - Tuesday- Saturday or Sunday-Thursday- with two evening shifts
Full benefits provided after 90 day probationary period including paid vacation, holiday's and sick time, paid maternity/paternity leave, short term disability, paid health, vision and dental insurance.
