Blue Cross Animal Clinic is a 10-veterinarian practice in the heart of Albuquerque. It is one of the oldest and largest non-corporate clinics in the state. We moved into a new, beautiful facility in July 2023. We're seeking a kind, dedicated, hard-working hospital manager.

The Hospital Manager sets the tone for the entire hospital with their attitude, professionalism and worth ethic. They oversee all leads (lead tech, lead CSR) and work closely with the Medical Director and other veterinarians. They participate in the hiring process for new staff as well as in 90 day and annual reviews. They are expected to be comfortable handling discussions regarding attendance, attitude and what is expected in the hospital as well as speaking with clients who have concerns. They help oversee practice financials and work with our CFO on a hospital budget. We are a working management team and the hospital manager is expected to be at the front desk, out on the treatment floor and actively involved with their team. The work schedule is 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday. Pay is dependent on previous experience but is in the $55,000-72,000 range to start.

Must have extensive experience working in the veterinary profession. Previous hospital manager experience is ideal and previous management experience, in some capacity, is required. We look forward to meeting you!
