X-ray Technologist / Medical assistant

Job Overview:

Position available for an Orthopedic practice.

We are looking for a positive and energetic individual who is empathetic with patients, has a positive attitude, and will develop a trusting relationship with patients and staff, to join our Team.

Applicant must be responsible, organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to follow through and complete work assignments independently.

Duties Include but are not limited to splinting, casting, brace application, assisting back office with minor procedures, recording patient histories in electronic medical records, performing x-rays of patients, stocking supplies, answering phones, assisting with drawing injections, drawing blood for PRP injections, rooming patients, and cleaning of equipment.

Prepare treatment areas, maintain safe and clean work environment.

Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills and cooperative behavior with other members of the team to achieve maximum operational effectiveness.

Uses sound judgment and appropriate concern for safety of patients, self, and others.

Maintains company, patient and client confidentiality.

Adheres to company dress code for assigned facilities and work environment.

Being able to multitask is a MUST.

Pay: $23-$27 Commensurate with experience

• Medical Office Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
• Vital Signs Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• EMR Systems: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
