Job Description:

The Lead Designer at the Los Angeles Chargers will play a central role in helping manage and lead the design efforts within the creative team. This role will work closely with the Senior Designer and help oversee and manage projects on the team as well as lead with their design work and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage internal design requests, deadlines and project assignments within the creative team.
• Conceptualize, build and design graphic elements at a high level consistent with brand identity.
• Provide design feedback, guidance, and support to junior team members.
• Collaborate with internal departments (communications, marketing, content, community) to assess their design needs and manage project timelines.
• Work closely within the Chargers creative team to ensure design efforts are consistent with current brand identity.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the field.
• Strong understanding of graphic design trends, market goals, and digital presence.
• A team player with excellent communication skills.
• Able to convey feedback in a constructive manner and helpful tone.
• Outstanding organizational instincts.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Estimated hiring salary range: $70,000-90,000
