We are seeking an extremely professional and detailed Live-In Private Estate Housekeeper / Nanny for a busy family. The Private Estate Housekeeper / Nanny will care for a 7k sq. ft. home in Manhattan Beach to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and service. The Housekeeper should be a Type A personality; very organized with extreme attention to detail. The Housekeeper should have a tried and true system that helps the home run efficiently, be detail-oriented, and triple-check their work so they stay on task during their work days. They are the type of Housekeeper who would never leave a load of laundry in the washer or dryer, you re-check rooms after someone leaves, check garbage and towels before they leave for the day, and have an eye for all things housekeeping.

Responsibilities:

This position is a Live-In role. Own room will be provided.

The Housekeeper / Nanny will be assisting a family of four and one small dog in the house, and the MRS does have a Personal Assistant. The children are elementary school-aged and typically attend activities until 7pm but the Housekeeper / Nanny will be responsible for some childcare duties; providing nutritious meals and snacks for the children, assisting with getting ready for school, school drop off, and pick up, getting ready for bedtime. Age-appropriate interaction and engagement will also be required while the kids are home.

Cleaning duties would be done while the kids are in school or out of the house; including the overall care and cleaning of the home, daily and deep cleaning, all laundry, tidying common areas, unpacking deliveries, breaking down boxes, and keeping the garage and basement organized. The Housekeeper may also be assigned to run various errands at times.

Qualifications and Physical Demands:

Previous experience in cleaning and childcare with strong references

• Knowledge of first aid and CPR
• Understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong work ethic, self-directed, discreet and professional
• Able to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English fluently
• Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance
• Able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 lbs unassisted in the performance of specific tasks
• Own their vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record to run errands are required. Mileage is reimbursed.

Stipend for medical, dental, and vision can be provided.

Employment is contingent on passing a background and reference check.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
