Lorich Construction Management, LLC is Hiring a Bookkeeper Near Deer Park, NY

Responsibilities:

Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner

Maintains records of financial transactions, posting transactions.

Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.

Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.

Prepare and submit monthly and annual financial reports (Agings, Job Costs, Payroll, etc) to President

Compile and submit all quarterly and all year-end financial information to accountant for review

Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.

Maintains historical records by filing documents.

Prepare bank deposits.

Reconcile all corporate bank accounts monthly.

Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.

Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.

Receive and reviewed current insurance for accuracy.

Bookkeeper Qualifications / Skills:

Previous experience in a construction office is preferred, but not required.

Experience with QuickBooks is required. Computer savvy with Microsoft Word & Excel knowledge is required.

Proven bookkeeping experience.

Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
