Lord Jameson is Hiring a Production Operator Near Boulder, CO

Production Operator is responsible for making sure the day-to-day activities on the production floor run smoothly. Ensuring that all production lines are running properly, efficiently, and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Review the production schedule to keep production lines running to meet sales forecasts.
  • Responsible for workflow and taking ownership of the line.
  • Communicate and interact with other team members to develop and complete immediate production requirements.
  • Weigh and mix product batches
  • Operate various food production equipment including mixers, extruders and packaging.
  • Maintain and conduct minor repairs on equipment.
  • Assists with sanitation practices.
  • Identify and implement new processes and procedures as necessary.
  • Assist with monthly inventory of raw materials associated with production.
  • Monitor changeovers and set-ups to reduce downtime.
  • Back up Warehouse and QA team member duties when needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to work as a part of a team and lead with a positive and constructive attitude.
  • Great communicator with all levels within the organization
  • Experience with food production, SSOPs and GMP’s
  • Experience with Food Safety and FSMA
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Strong project execution and management skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and work at a fast paced environment
  • Openness to grow, learn new skills sets, and wear multiple hats
  • Food production or kitchen experience is essential
