Accounts Receivable Clerk II
Reports to: Controller
Position Summary
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk II role will focus on collections, trial balance, uploading invoices to third party vendors, and other aspects of the accounts receivable process. In addition, when needed, will work closely with others in the accounting department.
Responsibilities
Collections on past due accounts
Reconcile customer accounts
Update and maintain customer files
Process payments daily
Assists with month-end close
Answer accounts receivable inquiries.
Resolve account disputes
Upload invoices to third party vendor portals.
Ensure that all new customer forms are filled out completely and correctly
End of Month (EOM) processing.
Meet deadlines
Performs other accounts receivable related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
3-5 years of work experience in accounts receivable
Knowledge of basic office equipment i.e. 10 key calculator and copier
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of accounting software
Skills
Ability to enter date accurately
Attention to detail
Organized
Ability to think analytically
Excellent written and verbal skills
Ability to communicate and interact with others
Understanding of the General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Ability to work independently
