The Lorain County Board of Commissioners Transit is hiring for a Transit Specialist!

Under general direction the transit provides fiscal services to Lorain County Transit Department, including but not limited to processing invoices, receivables. Also assists with customer service duties and performing general clerical support to Department. Reports to the Chief Fiscal Officer and/or Budget Director in absence of Transit Director.

QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of secondary education, supplemented by coursework in office practices and procedures plus two (2) years of office administration experience involving extensive public contact and complex secretarial responsibilities. Must have knowledge of the Windows Operating System environment, Oracle Software, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable under County vehicle insurance plan.
