Job Title: Full-time Bilingual Tax Preparation Specialist (Dallas and surrounding areas)

Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Competitive hourly rates of $17.00 - $18.00 per hour (depending on experience) plus generous commissions.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Bilingual Tax Preparation Specialist who is passionate about contributing to the financial well-being of their community by accurately calculating and filing federal, state, and local tax returns in compliance with all IRS regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Inform clients or employers about the tax preparation process.

• Collect and organize relevant financial documents, such as pay stubs and income statements.

• Accurately input financial data into tax return software or databases.

• Calculate deductions and tax liabilities in compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.

• Complete and submit tax forms to the appropriate agencies, including the IRS and state and local governments.

• Serve as a client liaison with relevant agencies when necessary.

• Build and nurture customer relationships to promote and expand our business.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of two years of tax preparation experience in a professional setting.

• Possession of a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).

• In-depth knowledge of applicable tax laws, regulations, and deadlines.

• Proficiency with popular tax preparation, word processing, and spreadsheet software.

• Familiarity with the tax return submission and confirmation process, including the use of IRS and government online platforms.

• Exceptional customer service skills, including patience and adaptability.

• Strong organizational abilities, time management skills, and strategic thinking.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
