**Job Overview:**

We are a small accounting firm seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll processing, benefits administration, and general accounting practices. We use Thomson Reuters Accounting CS to process payroll. Experience with this software is preferred but not required.

**Responsibilities:**

- Process payroll for employees accurately and timely

- Maintain employee records related to payroll

- Handle benefits administration including enrollments and changes

- Collaborate with the HR department on payroll-related matters

- Reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy

- Prepare reports for management review

**Qualifications:**

- Experience with Thomson Reuters Accounting CS and Quickbooks preferred, but not required

- Knowledge of financial concepts including debits, credits, and general ledger accounting

- Experience with benefits administration and payroll processing

- Familiarity with accounting software for payroll functions

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
