Longview Regional Medical Center is Hiring a Sterile Process Technician II Full Time Near LONGVIEW, TX
A clinically competent, sterile supply technician is responsible for receiving, cleaning, sterilizing and processing for redistribution of all reusable instruments and supplies. They are also responsible for keeping daily records, ie., labeling, recording, and filing of sterilization records. Responsible for care and use of autoclaves and equipment used in invasive procedure areas within the hospital.
Experience: Previous experience in a Sterile Supply processing unit required. Certificate of completion for seminars and workshops relating to sterile supply and autoclaving techniques highly desirable. Certification required upon 1 year of employment, if not previously certified. |
Licenses/Certificates: 1. Certification in Central Sterile preferred. |
