MRI Techno II - (PRN)

The MRI technologist will be responsible for performing high quality MRI imaging, safe patient care, and strong customer service. 

• Duties: Perform complex tasks associated with the operation of high field strength magnets and adjusting machine parameters to obtain the highest quality images determined by the ordered exam. 
• Start IV access and assess patients for contrast utilization and screen patients for magnetic material and or devices. 
• Maintain accurate billing and patient records, consult with the ordering provider and radiologists as needed. 

Qualifications:

• BLS, ARRT MRI certification required, 1 year experience in MRI required. Lifting requirements - heavy lifting - up to 100 lbs.; sliding patients over to scanner with assistance and transporting patients as necessary.
