JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor, the Facilities Technician is responsible for performing repairs to and maintenance on Longview buildings, equipment, and grounds.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Perform repairs and maintenance on Longview buildings, equipment, and grounds.
2. Complete preventative maintenance inspections and tasks.
3. Record progress and completion of assigned work utilizing computerized work management system.
4. Follows safety practices to minimize risk of personal injury, loss of life, and damage to property.
5. Shares on-call responsibilities and other duties as assigned or needed as business necessitates.
6. Participates in all pertinent risk management training and follows all Longview and departmental risk management procedures as outlined in Longview’s Employee Handbook and the Policy Manual.
7. Participate in mandatory annual in-service / review of Emergency Disaster plan and/or any other required training by all internal or external policies or agencies.
8. Report all accidents/injuries immediately using Longview “accident/injury report form.”
9. Completes other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Facilities Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum of two years’ experience in general maintenance, preferred experience in residential setting.
2. Experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, ground care, and snow removal.

PAY: $16.65 to $20.00 per hour based on experience
HOURS: 7:30AM to 4:00PM Monday through Friday, weekends as needed, rotating on-call
