LongStreet Property Management is Hiring a Property Manager Near Corvallis, OR

Our Property Manager is a strong problem solver and communicator who serves as a gatekeeper and a liaison between our owner clients and our internal team, tenants, vendors, and other parties. They can connect the dots, find solutions, and coordinate with everyone involved to make things happen. They are in charge of the portfolio in their market, lead the team, and make sure that the processes are running smoothly.

ROLE:

You are the face of the company in the market, and your job is to make us look great by working with integrity, showing care, and doing quality work. You wear multiple hats, decide on the priority task order, and ensure all work gets done on time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading, managing, and holding people accountable
  • Decision-making, understanding priorities, and enforcing processes

Communication

  • Owner client's point of contact for all matters
  • Escalated tenant, vendor, and other communication
  • Management of client, tenant, vendor, and other parties' expectations

Compliance

  • Enforcing rental agreements and legal requirements for tenancies
  • Managing the Eviction process and collections

Advertising & Leasing

  • Market rent and marketing management
  • Keeping all owners informed about our plan for their vacant properties
  • Approving rent increases & renewal options

Maintenance and inspections

  • Maintenance issues addressed promptly
  • Sharing inspection results & proposing a plan of action to the owners
  • Informing the owners of all maintenance needs & getting approvals
  • Approving estimates & work back schedules for unit turns & remodels
  • Accountable for project budgets
  • Preventative Maintenance Plan Execution

Finance

  • Review, close, and bill maintenance work orders
  • Pay bills
  • Enter receipts in Appfolio
  • Move out accounting

Education & licensing

  • Stay informed about the current laws & regulations
  • Participate in continuing education

REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated experience in company leadership
  • At least 5 years of experience working in property management / real estate is required
  • College degree preferred, high school diploma required
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Oregon property management license certifications are preferred
  • We will support the right candidate to obtain the license
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite
  • Must be able to learn and work quickly and effectively with digital technology, software, and applications
  • Experience with Appfolio Property Manager preferred
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently from a home office
  • Demonstareted experience in handling company and owner finances
  • Interest in furthering a career in property management
  • Valid driver’s license and your own vehicle
  • Passing criminal and financial background checks
  • Full-time benefits after the initial trial period, including employer-matched 401K, vacation, sick time, paid holidays, mileage reimbursement, and ability to work from home.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
