The Longhorn Council, Boy Scouts of America is currently seeking candidates for the role of District Executive. As a district executive, you will recruit and maintain a board of volunteers to provide leadership in a geographical area in all aspects of district operations – membership growth, revenue growth, exceptional customer service, and program development and support. A successful district executive accepts responsibility for the success or failure in the achievement or annual objectives and goals.
Compensation starts at $52,000 with performance-based raises and promotions. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
Benefits will include major medical, prescription coverage, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, accidental death, a 403(B) Retirement Plan with company match, and Employee Assistance Program plus compensation for authorized and approved business-related expenses including mileage reimbursement. The Longhorn Council reimburses cell phone expenses $75 per month and business mileage at $.655 a mile monthly. Additionally, a generous vacation policy and ten holiday observances in offered.
