We have an unique opportunity for the right nurse! A fulltime position as a wound treatment and float nurse. The qualified individual will learn wound care techniques from a state certified Wound Care Coordinator, while performing daily wound dressing changes for residents in a long term care setting. This individual will need to be flexible as they will also float as a floor nurse on occasion for times of lower census or scheduling needs.

Qualifications:

- Valid LPN Licensed Practical Nurse, license.

- Prior experience in wound care preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration
- Ability to catheterize patients when necessary
- Proficiency in clean and aseptic wound care techniques
