The ideal candidate will have sales experience and possess exceptional communication skills. We are open to the right person who wants to explore sales as a career. You must be a self-starter and a team player.
This position requires consistent outbound calling to existing customers and handling inbound phone calls, as well as getting out into our town and visiting the clients. We believe in “See and be seen”. You must have a valid driver’s license and reliable car.
You will also be responsible for maintaining knowledge of Huntington NY, staying current with our publications (print and web), and using Microsoft product suite efficiently. You should also be familiar with current social technologies. This position is perfect for recent college grads or work force newcomers who are looking for a dynamic change. We are open to a combination sales and contributor.
If you have a good sense of humor, focused, and looking to develop with a sales team from the ground up, this is the best entry-level sales opportunity you will find. If you are a seasoned sales person, this is an opportunity to earn.
You will be an independent contractor and receive only commission (no salary) of 30% of all sales you generate as funds are collected. A $1,000 bonus on all sales over $13,000 collected in one calendar month and will be paid monthly.

Qualifications

• Must be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person, with our customers and internal departments

• Ability to juggle multiple projects with superb accuracy

• Strong sense of urgency

• Education above High School, BA/BS preferred
