LONG Building Technologies is Hiring a Training Intern Near Denver, CO

POSITION PURPOSE

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) education. The intern will play a crucial role in supporting the training center's operations, with a focus on updating training materials, organizing classes, and assisting in the enrollment process for new students.

Compensation Range: $16- $20 per hr.

Part Time-Full Time, Temporary, No benefits

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Other duties or tasks may be assigned as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.The essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

Collaborate with instructors to review and update existing training materials.
Update current content and assist in creating new content to enhance the learning experience for students.
Ensure that all materials are organized and readily available for instructors.
Convert training materials into document formats that are best suited for student instruction.
Assist in setting up training rooms and equipment as needed.
Maintain organized records of student information and attendance.
Perform various administrative tasks.
Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the training center.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to do so. Junior or Senior standing in a bachelor’s program.
Enthusiastic and willing to learn
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in PowerPoint for creating and updating training materials.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to effectively use Apple products for various tasks related to training center operations.

Working Conditions

Ability to lift 25 lbs. from floor to countertop and countertop to floor
