The Role - Lonestar Builders currently has an opening for a Site Superintendent role in the Victoria/San Antonio Area of Texas. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual that will help drive value by providing thoughtful, strategic leadership and hands on experience within the Construction Management organization. This position will have a wide range of responsibilities, including project timelines, labor & personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, equipment and inspections.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the schedule and work product of all subcontractors and employees
• Monitor and verify the arrival and staging of all needed materials on a project
• Schedule and coordinate required inspections (building department, utilities, etc)
• Update and communicate the status of all projects by utilizing project management software and iPad Pro
• Mentor, train and develop other members of the organization
• Provide oversight and recommendations for increased efficiencies and new business opportunities
• Demonstrate and enforce safe behavior and OSHA requirements

What we’re looking for:

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Associate / Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Construction Management, Engineering, Business or Communication
• 3-5 years of work experience in a related position
• Knowledge of construction practices, excavation, concrete, masonry, stucco, framing and electrical
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a time sensitive and dynamic environment
• Willingness to work flexible schedule to accommodate business requirements
• Exceptional organizational, technical and communication skills
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across a variety of networks
• PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• Bilingual in Spanish & English
• Experience with software such as Asana & Dropbox
• Ability to recruit and retain top talent when necessary
• Experience with the construction process of franchise business' (car washes, restaurants, shopping centers, etc)
