Lone Tree CSD is Hiring a City Library Clerk Near Lone Tree, IA
The Lone Tree Community School Library evening clerk will be responsible for the following:
Patron Services:
The library clerk should be able to assist Patrons with the following:
- Destiny online catalog
- Basic Internet use
- Basic computer troubleshooting
- Where books can be found in the library
- Checking books in and out
- Reserving books
Material Maintenance:
The library clerk should be able to assist the library director with the following:
- Shelving books
- Repairing books
- Replacing damaged or incorrect barcode and spine labels
Supportive Services:
The library clerk should be able to assist the library director with the following:
- Adding new patrons, printing out a label, and laminating their card
- Recording circulation counts
- Informing the director of needed supplies
- Keeping the library neat and orderly
Material Processing:
The library clerk should be able to assist the library director with the following:
- Processing new books
- Printing and applying new barcodes and spine labels
The position is for the following hours:
Monday-3:30pm-7:00pm
Tuesday-3:30pm-7:00pm
Thursday-3:30pm-7:00pm
The first Saturday of the month-8:30am-10:00am
