Job DescriptionPURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine activities related to receiving, distributing and delivering campus mail, deliveries and general supplies. Performs basic clerical duties including sorting, copying, form completion, as required for activities of department.

Job DescriptionPURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Essential Job Functions
- Sorts and delivers mail for campus
- Reproduces (copies) for variety of departments, based on written request forms
- Maintains copy equipment; contacts vendor when repairs required
- Prepares mailings
- Establishes and maintains order in copy center and mailroom
- Performs a variety of general clerical duties to support the department as required; may include maintaining basic inventories, processing standard forms and documents, compiling simple statistics
- May act as courier on campus as necessary
- Reading and math skills
- Organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively convey information by telephone, in written form, e-mail or in person

Work Schedule And Conditions
- Equipme nt used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment
- Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards
- High school diploma or GED
