Responsibilities:

Below is a list of basic responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Pick up calves from dairies

• Maintaining equipment and recording

• Scan calves to managers

• Maintaining equipment sanitation (trailer)

• Receive routes from the General Manager

• Assist in scanning, recording, and reporting number of calves to management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

To be successful in this scope, you should have the following skills:

• Interpersonal Skills: A driver must have excellent interpersonal skills, as they interact

professionally with owners, Dairies, employees, and veterinary personnel on a regular basis.

• Computer Skills: Computer skills are becoming increasingly important for agriculture industry as

many record-keeping, recording numbers to management, etc.

• Mechanically Inclined: Skill with basic tools and repair equipment generally proves useful to

those involved in the agriculture functions.

• Physical & Mental Stamina: Drivers may need to lift, fix, or manipulate heavy equipment or

machinery. Calves that are sick or injured will need focused and efficient caregivers to help them which may also involve manipulating the calf into a particular position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
