Job Summary and Qualifications

** This position will work Monday - Friday during business hours**

The Coordinator is responsible for supporting and maintaining the volunteer/auxiliary program to utilize community volunteer support for the facility. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and carrying out the volunteer/auxiliary activities for the hospital. Recruitment, placement, and training of volunteers occurs on an ongoing basis. Department specific training may be necessary for volunteers assisting patients, staff members, and other volunteers. Manages and supervises the information desk and maintains volunteer records. Tracks and maintains volunteer records, orientation and on-going training needed. Acts as a member of the Volunteer Auxiliary and attends all board meetings. In addition, this role will be housed in and responsible for supporting the HR department. This includes assisting everyone who comes into the department by greeting them and answering their questions, directing them, and helping resolve their issues. Other duties or projects may be assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel
• Experience doing administrative duties
• Some college preferred
