IT Support Technician
Direct-Hire Position
Location: Pocopson, PA | Hybrid - must be able to work onsite*
Compensation Range: $50,000 - $60,000 | Based on experience*
As an IT Support Technician, you will be the first point-of-contact for the organization’s employees when they encounter IT issues, and you will be responsible for providing effective technical support and solutions. Your role will involve diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving a variety of hardware and software related issues, as well as delivering exceptional customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive technical support via various channels (phone, email, in-person) for hardware and software issues, using remote tools and on-site solutions when necessary.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical problems, maintaining detailed incident reports and escalating issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to stay updated on industry trends and enhance knowledge.
  • Assist in IT equipment setup, configuration, and maintenance, deploying, testing, and rectifying computer systems, software, and peripherals on networks.
  • Create user support materials, contribute to technician knowledge resources, and ensure compliance with company policies while safeguarding client data.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering positive client relationships, providing clear instructions for independent issue resolution, and offering support as needed, occasionally after hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, printers, scanners, and smartphones.
  • Possess intermediate-level knowledge of hardware and networking.
  • Exhibit strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Show flexibility and adept problem-solving skills.
  • Thrive as both an independent worker and a collaborative team member.
  • Demonstrate superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
