London Approach is Hiring a Remote Demand Planner Analyst

We have an opportunity for a Demand Planner Analyst to work in a hybrid model in our Willow Grove, PA location. This is an immediate need, contract to hire position.
Hourly pay rate: $35.00 to 45.00/hr

The Demand Planner Analyst researches and analyzes various sources of data including past sales for all products to determine patterns and trends for effective prediction of future product demands. This position works in the supply chain department to assist in data gathering, mining and analytics in relation to measuring supply chain performance. The key objectives of this role are to perform demand planning and analytics, develop regular product forecasts, balancing of supply and demand, monitor inventory and customer service levels. The right candidate must have strong industry experience with demand forecasting expertise and excellent analytical skills.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Develop monthly material forecasts using product sales history, gather and combine multi-dimensional inputs e.g., including product portfolio management, leverage advanced statistical forecasting models as basis for identifying future demand patterns and trends. Schedule monthly forecast review meeting with stakeholders and perform forecast adjustments, Prepare and report forecasting metrics including forecast accuracy, bias and perform root cause analysis.
  • Provides regular weekly, monthly and annual analytical reports regarding supply Chain performance including demand, capacity, production output, scheduling efficiency, inventory performance, obsolescence, and service.
  • Data extraction and collection activities, data visualization analysis, review, and update material resource planning (MRP) settings and monitoring of inventory.
  • Coordinate product demand planning across business lines, participate in S&OP monthly demand consensus and review process.
  • Works with Supply Chain Team to analyze current operational procedures, problems, and input/output requirements.
  • Assists in the improvements of operational and system processes that define user needs, functionality and steps required to enhance planning systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Exercises and maintains an understanding of commonly used supply chain planning concepts, practices, and procedures for conducting data analysis.
  • Monitor, create and maintain Supply Chain master data on regular basis in cooperation with Finance, Sales, Product Management, Operations and Purchasing.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, supply chain management, technical discipline or related field required.
  • 3-10 years of industry demand planning experience
  • Strong organizational and analytical ability and experience to perform data extraction, statistical and trend analysis
  • Ability to identify gaps in business processes and generate recommendations.
  • Self -starter with ability to work independently to gather data from various sources and generate insights.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday (1-2 days on site)
