As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently handling the billing and invoicing process for clients/customers. Your role will play a vital part in ensuring smooth financial operations and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and process accurate invoices based on contracts or service agreements.
• Verify billing information, including pricing, quantities, discounts, and taxes, to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or errors promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for invoicing.
• Maintain up-to-date customer databases and ensure billing details are accurate.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with customers on outstanding payments.
• Provide outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries related to billing matters.
• Prepare and distribute regular reports summarizing billing activities and financial data.
• Assist in the development and implementation of billing procedures and systems to improve efficiency.
• Adhere to company policies, guidelines, and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a billing specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of billing processes, financial transactions, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in using spreadsheets and relevant software tools.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
