London Approach is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist Near Moorestown, NJ
100% in office!
Location: Moorestown, NJ or Plano, TX.
Pay: $55-65k
Hours: 8-4:30 pm or 8:30-5
Essential Responsibilities
- Prepare and pay sales tax returns for each state and record payments in general ledger
- Maintain electronic files for sales tax returns and customer tax exemptions
- Reconcile Vertex reports to general ledger and Oracle reports
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- Maintain AR for high volume customers
- Email or mail invoices and statements as designated by the customer’s request
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues with internal billers
- Collaborate with finance, sales, and service professionals to maintain accounts receivable
- Communicate with customers to answer questions
- Resolve disagreements between the company and its creditors
- Request payment of pending debts in a firm yet considerate manner
- Negotiate payment arrangements when needed
- Assist with submitting invoices to customer portals
- Perform such other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time as they relate to the accounting department
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- BS/BA in accounting or relevant field preferred
- 2-5 years accounts receivable or billing experience preferred
- Sales and use tax experience
- Excellent attention to detail & strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of relevant laws and best practices
- Comfortability with mathematics and financial data
- Confidentiality and trustworthiness
- Ability to comprehend fast-paced business issues and practices
- Must be self-driven, creative and motivated to build new skills and grow with the position
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and Oracle system or similar ERP experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
