The Customer Service Representative consistently anticipates and meets the needs of the patients. Follows established guidelines to receive and answer patient questions, comments, or complaints. Obtains patient demographic, insurance, and guarantor information required to register patients into PM Office to ensure that complete and accurate accounts are produced. Collaborates with the Insurance Verification Team, Medical Groups, Health Plans, and Primary Care Physicians to ensure authorization for services and/or treatment ensuring accurate billing and timely reimbursement from the payers. Reviews estimates and collects all deductibles, co-payments, and cash rates in accordance with the terms and conditions of the various contracts still outstanding at check in. Ensures compliance with all mandated Federal, State and County regulatory requirements and hospital policies. Performs other duties as needed.
