Position Title: Director of IT Position Type: Full-Time, Benefited Compensation: $130,000 - $155,000 DOE Workplace Culture: Diverse, Inclusive, Collaborative, Team Oriented, Supportive Location: Covina, CA Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Developing and implementing the IT strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives
Overseeing the management of the organization's information systems, databases, networks, and technology infrastructure
Ensuring the security of the organization's IT systems and data, implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures
Managing and leading the IT team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure effective performance
Developing and managing the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation
Working closely with other departments to understand and stay informed of their IT needs and providing solutions that enhance overall organizational efficiency
Staying informed about technological advancements and recommend innovative solutions that can benefit the organization
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to IT and data management
Collaborating with external vendors and service providers to obtain and maintain necessary IT services and products
Providing training programs for staff to enhance their IT skills and promote a technology-aware culture within the organization
Actively participating in annual in-service training
Abiding by all of Options for Learning’s policies and procedures
Performing other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field required
Master's degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field highly preferred
8 years' experience in IT, Computer Science or a related field highly preferred
California driver license required
Ability to operate daily use of automobile and/or travel to varied sites required
Automobile liability insurance required
