Description

Job Title: Final Assembly 

Department: Production

Reports to: Final Assembly Supervisor

Status: Non-Exempt

Shift: M-F; 7am - 4pm

Summary: 

The Final Assembly Associate supports the hydraulic team by installing ratchets, tracking, and bolting down other items during the final assembly process. Occasionally, the Final Assembly Associate will be expected to apply decals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and more according to directions.
  • Uses various hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, and product inconsistencies.
  • Maintains equipment and performs basic repairs when needed.
  • Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts Lead or Supervisor if supplies are needed.
  • Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Works well as a productive member of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and consistent.
  • Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
  • Reading a tape measure

Physical Requirements

  • Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

Work Environment

  • Use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
