Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate, people-oriented Wellness Coordinator to join our team and help us foster a culture of health and well-being for our employees. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive wellness program, including overseeing the operations of our onsite gym. You will play a key role in promoting healthy lifestyles, increasing employee engagement, and ultimately contributing to a happier and healthier workforce.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Wellness Program Development & Implementation:
  • Conduct needs assessments and identify employee wellness priorities.
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective wellness initiatives to support the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of employees at HQ in Erie, as well as locations across the country.
  • Partner with LP’s health insurance provider and Employee Assistance Program to leverage their established wellness initiatives.
  • Track and measure program effectiveness and adjust based on data.
  • Develop a communication strategy to educate employees on program offerings and highlight success stories.
• Onsite Gym Management:
  • Develop and oversee the daily operations of the gym, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • Manage gym equipment and inventory, including maintenance and procurement.
  • Develop and schedule fitness classes and activities for all levels and interests.
  • Actively work to engage employees in gym activities.
  • Develop and enforce gym policies and procedures.
• Overall Responsibilities:
  • Stay up to date on current trends and best practices in corporate wellness.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to integrate wellness initiatives into the company culture.
  • Represent the wellness program at company events and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Passion for health and wellness and a commitment to creating a positive work environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage employees in wellness initiatives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in health promotion, public health, exercise science, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in corporate wellness program development and implementation.
• Experience managing an onsite gym or fitness facility is a plus.
