Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Warehouse Associate with travel readiness and forklift certification to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in various warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. This role will also involve occasional travel to support warehouse operations at different locations, requiring flexibility and adaptability. Forklift certification is required for this position to safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment.
- Assist in the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct items and quantities are dispatched.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of warehouse inventory.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, stack, and organize products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including storage areas, aisles, and loading docks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations and timely fulfillment of orders.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Support occasional travel to assist with warehouse operations at different locations, including loading/unloading trucks, inventory management, and general warehouse tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor or manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift certification and demonstrated proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different warehouse locations when required.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
