Overview

LMI is seeking a Senior AI Data Engineer to support a U.S. Federal Government Agency working with classified media. This position will work with a team of developers, architects, and data scientists to build new capabilities for our client, bringing innovative ideas to challenging and complex problems. The Senior AI Data Engineer will query and structure data, apply algorithms to develop machine learning models, develop metrics and data visualizations, and deploy visualization products to web-based environments. The Senior AI Data Engineer will have a strong background in technology, the ability to structure data for reporting, and have a strategic view for how to present analytic results to customers. This position will be responsible for presenting and explaining complex results to users. Responsibilities

• Experience creating and maintaining datasets which are used with AI models
• Experience formatting data to be used with a variety of types of software to include AI models
• A firm understanding of IC datasets (especially this customer’s)

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience creating and maintaining datasets which are used with AI models as part of intelligence community (IC) AI/ML programs. 
• 3 years of experience formatting, discovering, organizing, and structuring data and applying advanced analytic techniques. 
• 3 years of experience using Python, R, or other coding languages and developing and evaluating algorithms and methods. 
• 5 years with a senior to expert level of understanding of IC and the northern Virginia client's datasets.
• Experience with data manipulation, analytic papers or report writing, and subject matter briefing(s), slides and graphic products. 
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph required.
