The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing program protection strategies to safeguard critical information, assets, and technologies from unauthorized access, disclosure, or exploitation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement program protection plans, policies, and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to program assets and information.
  • Design and implement security controls and countermeasures to mitigate identified risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate program protection measures into project plans and processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct security education and awareness training for employees and contractors.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of program protection measures and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Stay informed about emerging threats and technologies in the field of program protection and security.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program protection, information security, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of program protection principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with risk assessment, vulnerability analysis, and security control implementation.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., NIST SP 800-160, DoD Instruction 5200.39).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CPP are preferred but not required.

Target salary range: $86,000 - $150,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
