An International company, located in Plano, TX, is seeking a Functional Tester for a 12 month contract role. This role is 100% ONSITE in Plano, TX.

Functional Tester with experience in UI & API Regression TestingAutomotive domain Knowledge and experience in testing automotive applications supporting connected services.

Experience in testing mobile apps on Mobile devices, S / W on test benches and related integrationsHands on experience with building automated test suites for API testing using PostManProficient in testing Microservices that use REST and gRPC and other high-performance protocolKnowledge and experience in supporting and enabling the Automation and Performance teamsFamiliar with preparing and articulating different test methods & approaches to validate service layer applications.

Proficient in Log analysis for both server and mobile applicationsPlan approaches and execute efficient iterative regression testingKnowledge and experience in supporting and enabling the Automation and Performance teamsTeam player with exceptional collaboration skills and Experience working with Agile / Scrum teams, Dev teams, Managers and stake holdersGood at Text Metrics and reporting What you"ll be doingPrepare the pre-requisites for the upcoming testing.

Proficiency in different testing methods including execution of test suites, specifically for API testing using PostMan, and supporting automation and performance teams.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working effectively with Agile / Scrum teams, developers, managers, and stakeholders.

Added bonus if you have (Preferred) : Experience in scripting and executing API automation using cucumber and rest assured frameworkKnowledge and use of AWS cloud debugging and monitoring tools
