Position Summary

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Tail Spend Analyst, Indirect Sourcing & Procurement at our omni-channel retail client based in Nashville, TN. This position will play a critical role for LogicSource providing an analytical & reporting function to support tactical sourcing operations and the onsite team. The scope for this role will be focused on our Client’s large tail of Indirect vendors with annual spend below $50,000 per year, across several major indirect categories including IT, Corporate Services, Marketing Print, Marketing Services, Distribution & Logistics, Tail Spend and Facilities. The role will report to the Account Lead.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Analyze and produce meaningful interpretations and actionable results from spend tools (OneMarket Insights) and other client data
• Identify opportunities within Tail Spend to eliminate and block rogue vendors, supplier consolidation opportunities, and routing small-spend suppliers into tactical and strategic sourcing projects
• Provide procurement and analytical support to Indirect Procurement team
• Collaborate with the Client’s internal stakeholders to identify and secure relevant data for analysis
• Deliver on-going analytical support to Sourcing Managers and the Center of Excellence (COE)
• Support activities throughout procurement and sourcing team to monitor spend under management and spend under contract
• Read and extract inconsistencies within contracts and add value by outlining required SLAs
• Engage analytical resources at LogicSource’s COE to ensure timely delivery of pertinent financial information
• Deliver accurate and timely information to finance for issuance of invoices to the client
• Monitor and report on key performance initiatives (KPIs) such as savings vs. baseline, purchase compliance to contract rates and usage versus demand management forecasts
• Ensure procurement activities comply with all client policies and procedures including legal and regulatory
• Maintain efficient and courteous relationship with client, vendors, and internal client contractors

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, economics or accounting
• 3 years of experience in analysis, financial and/or operational reporting roles
• Fluent with reporting systems, internet research, and general forms of technical infrastructure
• Proficient at Excel/financial analysis and planning
• Ability to turn complex data into meaningful reports
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Exposure to strategic & tactical sourcing, procurement, contract administration, and/or project management processes
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task, make sound business decisions, and find hidden opportunities

This position requires very limited to no travel.
