Position Details

Tasks:

• Write unique and high-quality content for placement on client’s emails to engage customers and encourage conversions
• Conduct research on client industries, influencers, and partners to assist in creating content that incorporates email marketing strategies; adjust tone and voice to meet the needs of the client’s brand
• Effectively follow client requirements to ensure client satisfaction and relevancy to Email Marketing content
• Stay current with the email marketing industry trends to ensure Email Marketing best practices are being followed
• Collaborate with peers to brainstorm writing ideas
• Coordinate and implement basic A/B testing strategy to allow the Email Marketing Strategist to analyze which strategy is most effective at engaging our client’s customers
• Analyze client websites for user data to build editorial calendars that outline the email content strategy over the six months based on the client’s goals; update and maintain based on client feedback
• Work with Account Managers and clients to develop or improve email campaign content as needed
• Prioritize workload effectively and meet client deadlines to ensure client satisfaction

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Associate degree or experience as a content writer
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of understanding and sophistication in writing and editing practices
• Effective time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Possess strong commitment to team environment dynamics with the ability to contribute expertise and follow leadership directives at appropriate times
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual who is flexible and able to switch between tasks easily
• Ability to accept constructive criticism and improve writing skills accordingly
• Creative and strategic thinker and problem solver
