Job Description: 

• Facilitates the development of team purpose, vision and values. Develops policies and procedures that reflect and help achieve the purpose, vision and values of the hospital.
• Coordinates with the CNO regarding the teams' operating budget. Participates in the organization's capital budget as appropriate.
• Provides team members with feedback at least once a year. Develops and implements team/department competency plans. Oversees the selection and orientation of team members.
• Coaches and acts as a mentor to team members.
• Develops and maintains successful working relationships with all parties associated with the organization. Manages conflict within the team and with other hospital departments.

Job Qualifications: 

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Current Indiana RN license
• Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
• Previous knowledge/experience in the Operating Room preferred
• Proven experience in leadership and conflict management required
• Management in healthcare setting preferred

FTE Status: 1.0 (40 hrs/wk) M-F
