Logan Simpson has an immediate opening for a full-time Director of Landscape Architecture and Urban Design based in downtown Tempe, Arizona. Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee the Landscape and Urban Design Teams across multiple offices, collaborating closely with the Community Planning, Environmental, and Cultural teams.
• Take charge of project management responsibilities, including developing proposals, defining project scopes and budgets, establishing project schedules, and conducting profitability analysis.
• Provide supervision for both professional and technical staff, encompassing tasks such as recruitment, performance evaluations, optimizing staff member assignments, and fostering teamwork within the department.
• Efficiently manage team workflows, project assignments, overall schedules, and resource allocation to meet project requirements and target utilization.
• Consistently embody the firm's vision, mission, and core values in your work and interactions.

Position Requires:

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Community Planning, Urban Design, or closely related field.
• 12 years of relevant consulting, agency, or municipal experience, with at least 2 of those years in consulting.
• 4 years of supervisory and leadership experience.
• Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) registration in Arizona, or ability to obtain PLA registration within 6 months.
• Strong project management, client management, profit management, and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in related field.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary consulting firm.
• Business development experience.

Compensation:

This is a full-time position paid on a salaried basis between $95,000 to $130,000 annually, depending on experience and education.
