As a Wound Care RN you will:

Deliver basic practice nursing care to include supporting patients to recovery, monitoring conditions of patients, screening and health prevention activities. Work collaboratively with general practitioner to provide assessment, treatment, education, and care to various types of patients, ranging from infants to the elderly.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Education Associates degree in Nursing Required Bachelors degree in Nursing Preferred

Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must beable to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Licenses:
Valid licensure in the State of Kentucky as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Minimum Work ExperienceOne (1) year of clinical nursing experience in a physician practice setting is preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSIdentifies existing and potential problems, and seek or implement appropriate solutions.Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care. May administermedication. Documents patient care given.
