Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate kindergarten classroom aide to join our team. As a kindergarten classroom aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of Lodi Christian School. Your responsibilities will include assisting with lesson planning, providing care and supervision for our students, developing relationships with our families, working with students with varying abilities and needs, and promoting faith-based childhood development.

Duties:

-Promote the development of the Christian faith among our students

- Provide attentive and nurturing care for students inside the classroom, during lunch, and at recess

- Collaborate with the kindergarten teacher in planning and implementing engaging lessons and activities for students

- Support student learning by implementing individualized strategies

- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment

- Foster a love for literacy education through storytelling, songs and reading activities

- Assist in monitoring and assessing student progress

- Help create a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

-Genuine love for Christ

-Experience working with children, preferably in a classroom setting

-Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices

-Familiarity with lesson planning and reading instruction

-Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues

-Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with our youngest learners

-Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities

-Willingness to be a lifelong learner

-Pass a criminal background check
