Responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, such as painting, plumbing, troubleshooting, carpentry, etc.

$28 hourly

• Survey building and repair mechanical systems
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
• Assist with rearrangement of furniture during deep cleanings and event needs
• Inspect alarm systems
• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in electrical/mechanical
• Plumbing systems
• Perform manual repairs when necessary
• Conducting ongoing room preventative maintenance
• Resolving maintenance problems, complaints, and work orders
• Conduct general upkeep procedures as directed (i.e., cleaning, caulking, painting, etc.)
• Carpentry and painting skills, as well as drywall and flooring repair work
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the General Manager, Hotel Manager, Director of Engineering, and/or Housekeeping Supervisor
• Work with Housekeeping to ensure all equipment within the guest rooms is functioning properly
• Adheres to all company standards, policies and procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent plus two (2) years of related experience
• Basic understanding of electrical, technology, hydraulic, and other systems
• General knowledge of maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
• Good problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual Spanish/English speaking a plus
• Computer savvy and have the ability to learn and use various software programs a plus
• Attention to detail is critical
• Must be able to provide outstanding customer service to our guests
