Position: Network Field Engineer

Full-time hours

Duration: 4-5 month contract (possible extension or contract-to-hire)

Pay Rate: $45-55/hr.

Location: Indianapolis, IN and Lafayette, IN areas

******Travel Expectations: This will be across Indiana, so definitely will be travel. Mileage will be paid for anything over 50 miles from home. Or, if candidate go to initial site within 50 miles, then have to travel to other sites that day.*****

Skills:

• Locate and verify equipment to be installed.
• Perform basic configuration tasks associated with new equipment deployments.
• Physical installation, connection, and powering up of associated network equipment at designated Customer locations.
• Provide onsite support to Customer staff for testing and troubleshooting of commissioned equipment.
• Execute commissioning and decommissioning of equipment per Customer established processes.
• Rack and Stack devices
• Translate installation guide requirements to site planning preparation checklist
• Understand airflow considerations is front to back to determine rack/stack placement and execution
• Physical Moves, Adds and Changes
• Troubleshooting
• Visual Inspection
• Power Resets
• Must understand rack/elevation drawings, ability to rack/stack network and SD WAN switches.
• Experience with Fortinet is desired
• Experience with Firewalls

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
