POSITION: Technology Teacher - Aaron Mossell Junior High School

Probationary
Ten Months
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: per negotiated agreement


The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. Earned Master's Degree in a related area (preferred)
2. Current New York State certification in a recognized CTE instructional area at the junior high level (this can include but not be limited to: Technology Education, Industrial Arts, Computer Technology, Engineering, Applied Science or any appropriate certification to teach courses at the middle school level in the areas of business, health, technology, computer science, trade and technical education, family and consumer science, and agriculture)
3. Comprehensive understanding of learning standards
4. The ability and commitment to use technology as an instructional tool
5. Uncompromising commitment to continuous improvement
6. Broad experience with a variety of instructional techniques
7. Ability to differentiate instruction for accelerated and delayed learners
8. Commitment to working with all members of the community to accomplish the goals of the district
9. Commitment to equity and inclusion of all members of the school community
10. Evidence of strong classroom management skills with age appropriate experiences
11. Flexibility, enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to develop programs
12. Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
