You will hold hand on experience developing aeronautics technical publications. You will be filling a lead role for Avionics and Flight Manual development. What You Will Be Doing As the Flight Manual - Technical Publications Writer - Level 4, you will be able to: • Effectively work with multiple engineering, flight test and customer support representatives

• Demonstrated authoring experience with military or commercial flight technical manuals • Experience with Technical Publications software for developing and authoring digital technical publications • Experience interfacing with operational and maintenance personnel in dynamic operational work environments • Experience interpreting complex technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and/or specifications
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated experience in aircraft operation or avionics maintenance setting
• Experience with Arbortext
• Familiarity with S1000D International Specification for Technical Publications
(Knowledgeable in element and attribute XML tagging, applicability, change management, and data requirements for S1000D-compliant interactive electronic publications)
• Experience evaluating technical order changes
• Understanding of aircraft inspection requirements
• Experience with electronic technical publications task relationships
• Posses the ability to work as liaison with internal and external customers
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
