The Team Leader/Manager in Training is responsible for contacting and connecting with provided union members such as police officers, firefighters, teachers, and more to establish a relationship, provide them with our benefits package, and assess additional insurance needs. They will also be trained on running and assisting their own team of agents, and be put on the fast track to management.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients online, by phone, and through video communication.
• Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up, accurate and timely quotations, and general account support. Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all existing client needs.
• Obtain best coverage for insured and bind insurance coverage; follow up as necessary. Present policies to insured and educate them on coverage and rates.
• Support and prepare clients for renewal and retention, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all existing client needs.
• Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, provide expertise and answer questions, and participate in formal and informal meetings as needed.
• Contribute to the strong culture that we have as an organization.

Requirements:

• Hold the insurance license required by your state or be willing to obtain one.
• Self-discipline and motivation.
• Be able to work in a team atmosphere, while also being able to work independently.
• People-oriented, customer-focused, with a positive outlook and strong interpersonal skills.
