Starting between $14.00-$17.00 an hour (based on experience and completed trainings)

We are looking for passionate and caring Direct Support Professionals to work 2nd Shift one-on-one with developmentally disabled individuals in a residential setting located in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.

As a DSP, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with activities of daily living such as bathing and grooming, light housekeeping, meal planning, and preparation. Other responsibilities may include arranging transportation and planning social events, but the most important thing our DSPs provide is companionship.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team of direct support professionals.
• Work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Communicate effectively with staff, volunteers, and families.
• Provide personal care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Prepare meals for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Provide personal care for individuals with physical or emotional disabilities (e.g., using mobility equipment, providing physical assistance, providing medication).

Additional Responsibilities:

• Adheres to all policies & procedures
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information
• Ability to successfully complete all company-required training
• Adhere to attendance standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Availability every other weekend
• Clean BCI Background Check
• Successfully complete all required training
• Valid Driver's License (less than 6 points)
• Clean driving record
• Personal vehicle w/ Auto Insurance (preferred, not required)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
