Job Overview: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Host to join our team. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your role will involve greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and assisting with various guest service tasks. Duties: - Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival - Manage the reservation system to ensure accurate seating arrangements - Escort guests to their designated tables and present menus - Provide information about daily specials, promotions, and restaurant events - Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area - Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations - Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth dining service - Handle guest concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner - Assist in preparing the dining area for service, including setting up tables and arranging decorations - Support other front-of-house staff as needed Qualifications: - Previous experience in a hospitality or guest service role preferred - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of restaurant or hotel operations is a plus - Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems is an advantage At our establishment, we value teamwork, exceptional service, and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
