Local Smile Co. is Hiring a Pediatric Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Near Redondo, CA

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated registered dental assistant to work at our office 4 days per week. The position is a full-time position, 6:30 am - 5 pm work days (Monday - Thursday).

Our goal is to provide an exceptional, individualized dental experience in a happy environment where relationships are valued and smiles are created and celebrated.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and family to our practice
  • Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations
  • Assist the operative procedures
  • Take dental radiographs
  • Complete coronal polish (RDA Requirement)
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Keep the dental operatory clean and well-stocked
  • Maintain accurate patient electronic records

Skills

  • Proven experience as a dental assistant
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Competent in coronal polishing
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills, especially kids
  • Attention to detail
  • Well-organized and reliable
  • High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
